From Editor's

This is a corner where LEON editorial staff members share the daily process of creating the magazine and what they learned through interviews. This time, Tsuzaka, part 2 of the editorial department in charge of blonde hair, will be reporting on the presentation of a new watch.

The first feature of LEON's January issue, which will be released on November 25th, is titled ``Popular Mainspring of the Year 2023'' and selects watches that will appear in 2023 from LEON's popular perspective.

However, after finishing this special feature, there was a rush for watch exhibitions... There are many interesting and popular watches that were not selected in the special feature, so we will introduce them here.

First up is a collaboration watch between Takashi Murakami, one of the world's most popular Japanese artists, and Hublot. This collaboration has been going on since 2020, and each time we have announced a watch that is full of Murakami's world, and we, the editorial staff, have flower marks in our eyes. This year's collaboration model features the familiar flower mark designed by Takashi Murakami on the case itself. Moreover, the case material is Hublot's signature sapphire crystal. Although the material is hard and difficult to work with as it tends to crack, it perfectly reproduces the roundness of the petals. A tourbillon is built into the center of the face. It's said to be limited to 50 pieces worldwide, so I'm sure it will sell out quickly...

Also, since it is made with a sapphire crystal case, there are many other watches made with the same material. This may be the last time you'll be able to see them all at once.

Furthermore, H. Moser was the first to unveil in Japan the watch that will be announced at "Dubai Watch Week 2023" which will be held from November 16th (it will not be released until the 16th for press only). A small seconds model has appeared in Coconchi's popular model "Streamliner". The biggest feature is the dial. The fumé dial has a unique texture and a strikingly beautiful hammered finish, expressing the bubbles of bubbles. And in order to preserve its beauty, the brand name is removed from the dial. Normally, if it were a brand, we would want to name it after ourselves, but what makes H. Moser interesting is its stance of prioritizing beauty and not needing unnecessary things.

The most interesting part is the unique pieces that are released once a year. ``Even though they say ``Made in Switzerland'', they use foreign minerals for the case materials! If that's the case, let's make a 100% Made in Switzerland watch!!'' SWISS MAD announced that the case was made from Swiss cheese. ``WATCH''. The ``Swiss Alp Watch'' is more reminiscent of a watch with an apple logo than a smartwatch. ``Swiss Icons Watch'' caused a huge uproar by mixing together icons from various Swiss watches. I was able to see such unique pieces all in one place.

this year too There's less than a month left , but new popular watches are still appearing. You can't take your eyes off this until the very end.
