Every Wednesday, there is a corner where LEON's editorial staff introduces the daily process of creating the magazine and what they learned through interviews. This month, Kanta Kato, the youngest member of the editorial department, appears.

Happy New Year everyone. This is Kato, a newcomer. We look forward to your continued patronage this year. This year, just like last year, we will focus on what it means to be popular and send out popular things to old men all over the country! So, although it's still a long way off, I had a meeting with editor-in-chief Dai-senpai Horikawa about the June issue of LEON! We had a serious discussion about how to be popular and what kind of old men are cool, and we came up with various ideas! However, there was no way the plan could be completed in just a few hours of meetings...

Even on my day off, I was thinking about being popular at a cafe, but when I suddenly heard someone call out to me, I looked up and saw my friend from my school days! Although we were surprised by the sudden reunion, we enjoyed talking about old stories and had a fulfilling time! (The photo above was taken by a friend of mine, but I'm sorry for not showing off my clothes lol) I think I'll continue to spend time like this this year, thinking about being popular and checking out the fashions of old men around town. is~!
